In the past, there were some darker colors available, but there were some concerns about the color fading. But with better technology, companies are now offering more choices than ever before. Be sure to check out the company's warranty before you purchase your vinyl siding.

Since many darker vinyl siding colors have just been added, you want to be ensured that in 10 years the color does NOT fade and the company will stand by its product.

You will be able to view many different available vinyl siding colors on each individual vinyl siding website, but it would be wise to ask for samples of that particular one you are interested in. The color that is shown on the website is not the exact same color, since every computer's resolution is different.

Ask for a 6 inch (minimum) or bigger sample. Many companies have those two inch samples, which won't do you too much good. You want to be able to see how the color looks when the sun is shining on it and what it looks like in the evening.
