Could your home be America's Best Siding Makeover?

Most people are as proud of their homes as they are of their children (and in some cases, more). Nothing makes a home stand out from surrounding residences than new vinyl siding. You can reward the contractor who made your home the pride of the block by submitting his or her name into VinylSidingZone's America's Best Siding Makeover contest.

New vinyl cladding

If you would like to show others your home's transformation from drab cookie-cutter to showcase residence, enter your home in VinylSidingZone's America's Best Siding Makeover contest, which runs through June 18, 2012. The contest rules are simple:

  1. Register online at http://www.vinylsidingzone.com/siding-makeover/account-setup/
  2. Complete the easy entry form, and submit details of your home renovation project, including homeowner's name, contractor's name and contact information, such as website, email address and telephone number
  3. Submit photos

Make sure to snap photos in early morning or late-evening sun for ideal lighting. The best shots are before-and-after pictures of your home that really bring out the wizardry of the contractor's work in your renovation project. For examples, take a look at some of the leading homes with new vinyl cladding already submitted to VinylSidingZone.com.

What you can win

From May 21 through June 18, 2012, VinylSidingZone.com is awarding four weekly prizes and one grand prize to both homeowners and contractors. Contractors can have their winning project posted on the VSZ website with a badge stating the job is a finalist (or grand prize winner) in the home makeover contest, while homeowner's receive a $50 gift card. Winners are to be notified via email, telephone or postal mail. The grand prize winner is to be selected on June 18.

Tell your friends, co-workers and others about your submital so they can cast a vote for your project. Voters can nominate an unlimited number of entries, but they can only vote for one project each day.

So far, voting has been brisk for several impressive makeover entries. Contractor Sal Ferro used CertainTeed's Monogram cladding line to totally transform a home in East Meadow, N.Y., which has received a good number of early votes. But contractor Bennet Andelman's work on a residence in Oaklyn, N.J. isn't far behind.

Enter now to give your home the best shot at winning a weekly or grand prize!
